Create Your Own Computational Tools

Option 1: Deploy your tool from a notebook

  1. Create a new notebook.
  2. Use our tool template to transform your algorithm into a web-based tool.
  3. Click the Blue Button Blue Button to preview your tool.
  4. Click the Red Button Red Button to deploy your tool.
  5. Click the Eye Icon at the upper right of your tool page and change the visibility from Hidden to Public to include the tool in your public profile.

Option 2: Upload an archive containing your tool

  1. Download our application framework. Create a configuration file based on our examples and documentation. 
    pip install -U crosscompute crosscompute-types
pcreate -s cc-python your-tool
crosscompute run
crosscompute serve
  2. Compress the configuration file, script and templates into a single archive and upload the archive using this button.

  3. Click the Eye Icon at the upper right of your tool page and change the visibility from Hidden to Public to include the tool in your public profile.
